For all of you who could not attend the Western Hoedown…you missed one that will go down in the PMA Annual Awards as one of the best we’ve had yet!

Andrew Brethour, PMA Brethour President, and Peter Comyns', Manager, line dancing moves knocked a few people on their you-know-what’s... but that’s nothing compared to the whoopin’ Irene Ivanyshyn got from her side kickin’ mule in the “Kiss-Your-Ass Goodbye” event. Fortunately, Irene was unharmed, and went on to join the Line Dancing gang. Good Sport Irene!

Sandie Wells, Accounting Department, was the best little milk maid this side of the border with her quick hand action and the consensus was that, “City girls got the best stroke!”  However, the hootin’ and hollerin’ did not stop here.

As the events continued Glen Buttigeg, Sales Agent, of the “Pink” team was clearly the man to beat and even though his cow pie throw screamed past the crowd it could not match Jordan Kideckel’s Olympic toss with Renzo smugly crying, “Give that man a urine test!”

Kent Wengler, VP Research, and Mark Bragagnolo, Manager High-Rise, were noticed teaming up just a little too much throughout the day earning them the nickname “The Brokeback Boys”

Following the events, Pucks Farm served-up a terrific Western BBQ with smoked chicken and ribs, enough to satisfy even the hungriest of cowhands. The cake was fabulous too.

The evening progressed with Kent Wengler, Howard Kideckel (controller) and Mark Bragagnolo getting tanked, a literal dunking. All award winners got their shot to “Dunk the Manager!” leaving Kent, Howard, and Mark “all washed up!”

Congratulations “Pink” team – the “Best Posse” of the day, overall.

We would like to extend a special thanks to Pucks Farm and their team for their help and assistance throughout the day – especially during the events.

All in all, it was a fun filled day with friends and colleagues alike.

On a more serious note, the 43rd PMA awards recognized outstanding sales performance and congratulations goes out to all the nominees as well as the winners.
